陳椒華今與三名疫苗接種不良反應的受害者舉行記者會，陳椒華指出，受害者在打了第一劑疫苗後發生不良反應，雖症狀不一樣，但就醫過程同樣艱辛，反應出民眾在遭遇疫苗不良反應時，缺乏適當的就醫指引，只能不斷試誤、檢查、復健，搞得身心俱疲，卻還不知何時能恢復健康，但政府協助卻缺乏完善配套。

陳椒華表示，申請疫苗救濟後立案調查要大半年，之後才能排入審議小組。但去年11月起申請COVID-19疫苗救濟案件暴增，審議塞車問題迄今未獲改善，審議小組1個月才開2次會，每次僅審議約50案，但目前約有8千件申請案，去年僅審議158件，今年迄五月底審議401件，合計559件，遭判定與疫苗無關者高達482件，佔86.2%，僅30件(5.3%)判定相關，47件(8.4%)無法確定。

陳椒華並提到，最近一次5月26日的第180次會議共審議52案，至今尚有數千件待審，審議速度緩慢，讓受害者一直在等待。現行制度讓受害者有「求醫艱辛、通報不易、救濟久等、認定超難」四大問題，衛福部應加強醫療體系對疫苗受害者的診斷與醫治，並及早協助受害者通報及救濟，別再讓病患四處求醫卻遲遲查不出病因，無法對症下藥，甚至苦等不到賠償救濟。

台中豐原的M小姐表示，去年10月施打BNT疫苗三天後出現呼吸困難、發燒、全身無力等症狀，先到地區醫院就醫，後來腿軟無法行走，甚至半邊癱掉，她並無奈地說，已長期留職停薪無法工作，之後可能得領殘障手冊，甚至有猝死風險，不知道該如何是好，希望政府至少能給予救濟補償。

M小姐也提到，今年一月在北部就醫時新店衛生所代收申請救濟資料，並說會轉到神岡衛生所，上周打電話到台中市衛生局詢問，卻說還沒看到資料，也未提供救濟申請的案號，從衛福部的「預防接種受害救濟案件進度查詢」網頁也查不到，不解台中衛生單位怎麼沒協助申請救濟。
